I enjoyed my stay in this hotel for about 10 days. It looks new and it does not have lots of accessories that most older hotels have, like paintings, shops, bar for a drink in the evening before you go to your room. Almost all of the staff werevery nice and happy looking except there was a dark brown hair lady who looked like the manager of the day time reception. She never smiled, reluctant to answer or help us and she made me feel like not welcome there. I tried to avoid her any time I went to reception area. But all others were very nice and warm and smiling and went extra mile to help you. Excellent breakfast and waiters. You can trust to get a wake up call and they were very helpful in giving you directions to every where. I called my hotel from airport and the gentleman told me to take bus # 308 to go to the center. The bus was waiting just outside of airport. for 82 Rubles ($2.5) I came to center of city and walked 12 minutes to Hotel Milan.

The Hotel is very nice. The rooms are spacious, very clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. However, the hotel is not centrally located.

We stayed in the Milan for 3 nights & were very satisfied.The room was clean, bright & somewhat spacious, with a fridge, tele etc. The shower was in the bathtub.There was a shortage of towels which were promptly replenished. The staff were pleasant & helpful.Including with the Visa invitation paperwork-to cover all the dates of our stay. The Hotel reception area is under construction & is closed, so you enter around the side of the hotel-not a problem. The breakfast is very good- However( renovations?), there isn't a bar area, just a few couches in the corner of the restaurant area, service a bit slow. 10 min walk to the metro stop.You can get a bus/ tram across the road (20 rubles-kiosk) 2 stops. The metro takes 30 mins into Red Square. From the Metro look for McDonalds, the hotel is on the same side of the road past a big car showroom. The shuttle service to the airport is good if you are going at the available slots. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't working-supposed to be fixed the 2nd day but didn't make any difference. We ate in the restaurant just before going to the airport and had a nice meal, reasonable, (go for the bar menu -even for drinks- the restaurant menu is a bit steep. You can have either sitting at the same table- maybe because there isn't really a bar) Overall I'd have no problem recommending Hotel Milan, if you are in Moscow to see the sights, and are looking for a base in nice surroundings with a great breakfast.

The hotel is very good. The rooms are clean, comfortable, service is great, and breakfast is very good, English speaking employees. The only bad point is the distance to the nearest Metro station, which is about 15 minutes walk away. The hotel would be smart to offer a free shuttle to the metro station, which would take a 2 minute drive each direction.

A bit far from center, but very good hotel. Service, Breakfast and the rooms are greally good. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very well maintained and I enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. The only problem was the location in the southern part of the city. If you have to drive to the center of the city or parts north, do not stay here or take the subway, if possible.

Stayed for one night on 20th Feb 2009. Checking in took way too long, the receptionist was messing about with our booking and implied that we needed an extra bed for the children, even though it was confirmed before the booking directly with the hotel that we could all share a room. They also took our passports to be photocopied, God knows why, and that took another 15 min. Lobby bar didn't have any beers on the menu but one and food took 30 min to arrive, even though all we ordered was club sandwiches and a Caesar salad. Air conditioning didn't work, it was very warm in the room and we had to open the window. Breakfast was good. Shuttle bus to the airport does not go regularly as stated on the website, only at 6 am, 8 am, 10 am and 12 pm, that's it for the day.

We found the Milan Hotel overall excellent, our room, the food and the staff were great, and at an affordable price for Moscow. About twenty minutes from Domedevo airport. The only thing about it is that it is not in the centre and you would have travel a bit to get into the city centre.

I often travel to Russia and stay in Southwest Moscow. By far, the Hotel Milan is the nicest and best-priced hotel in this area. It was convenient, easy to find, staffed by friendly people and very accomodating. The fact that a shopping center was directly across the street made the hotel especially appealing. Keep in mind that this hotel is not in the center of Moscow and is quite a distance away for those wishing to travel to the center. That being said, it is much nicer and less expensive than those in Central Moscow and may well be worth the extra commute to avoid the noise and bustle of Central Moscow. This would be best described as an "off the beaten path hotel," but a very nice one.

Can't afford a hotel in Moscow City Centre? Don't want to get ripped off taking a taxi from Domodedovo airport to Moscow, well consider Hotel Milan. I don't speak Russian myself, but the hotel is easy to get to, plus easy to get from the hotel to the city centre by a 10 minute walk to Domodedovskaya Metro (20 mins Metro direct ride to city centre). Only tried lobby food that was over than average price. The rooms are clean and had plenty of space. The breakfast european breakfast with cold fish, salads, plus hot food that was ok (I would actually say lower than average English breakfast - the baked beans... not good). When leaving, the hotel provide a free minibus at 6,8,10am and midday back to Domodedovo airport only.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable. The Hotel was easy to get to from the airport and convenient to the subway. The staff was help courteous and spoke great English. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. If I am in Moscow again I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Well, what can you say when you stay in a newly built hotel , modern, confortable, and reasonable prices, the only service missing was the fitness center, I was surprised there was none, maybe it's catered more to buisness people so they have no time to exercise! the only inconvience was walking to the metro station , little far, 500 meters, of course in the winter it's a little unpleasant (cold) but overall I would reccommend this hotel to anybody...... of course I also like the name being italian Hotel Milan , my favorite italian football team .... and the sports restaurant they have is also enjoyable, for sports fanatics...... viva Milan

Moscow is a ridiculously overpriced city but I was pleasantly surprised with Hotel Milan. The hotel staff with were wonderful and spoke perfect English. The hotel reception staff were always helpful. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro station. Normally, this would be convenient but in -3C winter that 15 minute walk can be pure torture. The hotel will arrange taxi services but expect heavy traffic delays.

Hotel had very friendly English speaking staff. Convenient to pick up and drop off point for Airport shuttle and Moscow subways. Great value for the price. The hotel was very quite and close to restaurants and shopping. The breakfast buffet was exceptional.

Very modern hotel, relatively close to the metro station and with a free shutle bus running to and from the airport. Only negative point is availability of Internet. It costs about 400 rubles for 1 hour and speed is prehistoric.

Milan is perfect for a stay in Moscow if you are prepared to master the Metro, if not, then perhaps you need to be closer to the centre. Trip to Red Square including the 10 min walk to the Metro from the hotel, takes approx 40 minites. Hotel staff very helpful, rooms are simply furnished in terms of quality but everyhting is new and the rooms are large. Restaurants and a bar provide evening relaxation and a shopping centre is only a 5 minite walk opposite the hotel, this also has a currency exchange centre that is likely to offer better rates than the hotel. Milan also offer a free airport transfer! Many airlines use the hotel so clientele is multi-national, the breakfast buffet is very good. All in all when compared to the costs that my colleagues paid for central hotels of a far poorer quality, then I think I have done well to find this hotel.

Great location , very clean ( opened a year ago?), strange salads but rest is okay.

Beautiful hotel with a great staff. Wonderful breakfast, beautiful rooms and very comfortable! I loved this hotel. It was two hours from where we wanted to be on the other side of Moscow, so that was inconvient, but far from the hotel's fault. We just had no idea how large Moscow is. But if you are going to stay in Moscow and the location is convient, it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The only inconvience that I was not satisfied with was the wi-fi. It was not only not free, it was very expensive.

This was one hotel that was fairly priced for Moscow. The staff were friendly, spoke English well, and were glad to help with directions and service. Rooms and bed were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very secure. Service: allowed us to store extra bags for three days while we were traveling with no charge. Restaurant: Ukrainian sausages and microbrew beer were excellent. Recommend the dark beer. Location: 15 minutes walk from metro along a straight shot down the street. Right next door to a shopping mall where you can go for food court, movie theater, and supplies. About two blocks from a grocery store. Summary: We stayed at four different hotels while in the Moscow area. This was by far the best service, best room, and best price. Recommended!!!

Nice clean and friendly spot. A bit isolated though and on the wrong side of the city from International airport, but affordable and very nice. Staff were very professional (which seemed to be lacking in most Russian Hotels)

Great location, on the way to Mosco from Dodo Airport, good for the Metro, & around a £15 taxi ride into Moscow centre. Clean, tidy, big rooms, good value for a city that is very expensive, you can not really go wrong

The room was fine, especially in relations to general hotel prices in Moscow. The only issue was some kind of ventilation problem in the bathroom where there was a lingering odor. The restaurant was fine. The Milan is a bit farther from the center of Moscow than many hotels, but is less than a kilometer from the nearest metro stop. For the price, I don't mind the extra ten minutes. There are a couple of modern shopping centers in close proximity. The area seemed pleasant and secure.

We loved our stay in this warm and friendly hotel. There was no sauna, and exercise room (yet available) as advertised. The hotel is alteast an hour to red square, and the hotel is clearly new to the tourist industry.Despite these short falls, my wife and myself could not be happier with the Hotel Milan and the staff.

Compared to other Moscow hotels, the value here was excellent. I suspect low prices were available due to the fact that the hotel was only open for 3 weeks and they are not well known yet. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a staff that speaks English and Russian. Actually, the quality of the hotel and the service staff is excellent. The downside is that they didn't yet have a liquor license and difficulty with a couple of service requests (phone not initially activated, TV not working, needed help with electricity conversion. Overall for the price, I would stay there again.

high rise hotel southeast of city centre, good comfort food for late arriving visitors (spring veg soup with generous dollop of sour cream and hearty dark bread), substantial breakfast buffet, professional high watt hair dryer w/cool setting, only minus was room heating (tad too dry/hot even on low setting)

Trotz des (Sommer 09) noch nicht abgeschlossenen Umbaues keinerlei Probleme. Personal freundlich (kann gut englisch), Zimmer sehr sauber und sehr ruhig, Klimaanlage gut regulierbar und leise, Frühstücksbuffet exzellent. Nicht weit zur Metro und zu Supermärkten.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis; freundliches Personal; sehr gutes Frühstück; Kleines Manko, hat uns allerdings nicht gestört: zukünftiger Eingangsbereich noch im Bau, deshalb vielleicht noch für 1-2 Monate provisorischer Empfangsbereich vom Seiteneingang. Kritik: Da man für Rußland eine offizielle Einladung braucht, wofür das Voucher mit Nummer der Hotelzulassung benötigt würde(per Fax), habe ich das Hotel mehrfach per Fax und Mail angeschrieben. Leider keine Reaktion. Habe mir somit bei einem deutschen Reisebüro eine "Einladung" kaufen müssen.

Déjà dans cet hôtel fin Janvier 2009, j'avais été très satisfait dans l'ensemble mis à part l'éloignement par rapport au métro et internet payant. J'avais apprécié le professionnalisme et le côté pratique. Cette fois par contre ma très grande déception, pour un prix supérieur à la dernière fois, j'ai eu la surprise de trouver un hôtel en plein travaux obligeant les clients à passer par une petite porte latérale et dans le platre et la poussière. Il aurait été bien de prévenir, voir même de faire un discount puique les services étaient au rabais. Sales de restaurant partagée en sale breakfast, etc.. Cela sans aucune excuses comme si c'était normal. Honnêtement j'ai été très déçu et cela surtout lorsque l'on doit rencontrer des personnalités. Je pense que cela mériterais des excuses voir même plus.Suivant la suite donnée à ces remarques, la prochaine fois je réfléchirai à deux fois. Merci. Dommage.

Für Moskau-Besucher, die über den Flughafen Domodedovo einreisen ein sehr günstig gelegenes ordentliches Hotel. Von der Haltestelle vor der Haustür ist man eine Station weiter an der Metro und hat Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet für jeden Geschmack. Das hoteleigene kleine Restaurant bietet ein gutes Essen, jedoch zu nicht geringen Preisen. Zimmer sind gut und zweckmäßig ausgestattet.

Hôtel trés correct et sérieux. Trés, trés bien! "Businness Lunch" trés intéressant et trés correct. Buffet breakfast trés bien. Bus de transfert aéroport trés pratique, ponctuel et rapide (30 min) Literie de qualité Manques: - Brochures sur l'Hôtel avec diverses informations. - Un "fitness center" manque terriblement sachant qu'il me semble qu'il était cité dans l'offre internet. - Metro un peu trop loin (20 min), le plus grop probléme. - Internet payant!! Das Hotel liegt ca. 900m von der naechsten UBahn Station entfernt. Mit der UBahn faehrt man in ca. 20min direkt zum Kreml. An der UBahn Station ist ein McDonalds. Das Fruehstueck ist sehr gut.

Dieses Hotel ist eine ideale alternative zu den Hotels in der Innestadt. Es bietet einen sehr guten Standart. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und behaglich. Dank der Nähe zur Metro ist auch die Innenstadt gut zu erreichen! Leider WLAN nur gegen Bezahlung in der Lobby. Das Preis-/ Leistung -Verhältnis ist noch akzeptabel.

In Moscow krijge je niet beter onder de 3-400 Euro per nacht. Niet in het centrum maar dat kan je voor deze gunstige prijs ook niet verwachten. Internationale standaard

Hotel war sehr gut, jederzeit zu empfehlen.

Die Nähe zum MKAD und zum internationalen Flughafen Domodedovo macht das Hotel für Geschäftsreisen besonders attraktiv. Zudem kommt man auch mit der Metro schnell ins Zentrum. Das Hotel ist modern eingerichtet, das Personal sehr freundlich ? daher bin ich beim nächsten Moskau-Aufenthalt sicher wieder im Milan!

L'hôtel a des bons potentiels : spacieux, moderne, les chambres sont agréables, les restaurants corrects. Cependant la présence de morpions dans une des trois chambres nous laisse un doute sur la propreté des lieux. Ajoutez à cela l'absence d'eau chaude 2 matins sur 4. Pour être tout à fait juste avec l'hôtel, il nous a été dit que cela était ponctuel et impactait tout le quartier. Cependant aucune compensation ne nous a été proposée et/ou offerte. Enfin la localisation à l'extérieur de Moscou engendre des heures des trajet en taxi. (Ainsi pour aller sur notre lieu de travail à 20 km de l'hotel, vers l'est nous mettions entre 1h25 et 3h00 le matin) En conclusion, un hôtel trop excentré et surtout des défauts inacceptables d'un 4 étoiles.
