Описание


Location. The Katerina City Hotel is located in Moscow, Russia, by the banks of the Moskva River, 500 metres from the International Music House, and three kilometres from Red Square and the Kremlin. Paveletskaya metro station is 800 metres from the hotel, and connects to the city centre.
Hotel Features. Set in two interconnected buildings, The Katerina City Hotel features one renovated 19th-century property and the other constructed in a modern European design. There is a beauty salon on site, the hotel offers complimentary wireless Internet throughout, and the lobby has 24-hour front desk and security guard. Concierge services can arrange excursions and tickets for theatres and concerts.

The Stockholm Restaurant at the Katerina serve dishes from Scandinavian, Russian, and European recipes. The Alex Bar in the lobby offers drinks and snacks, including sweets from the Katerina bakery. An open buffet breakfast is complimentary, and the top-floor Library Hall has leather sofas, an open fire, and armchairs, and serves cocktails and Cuban cigars.

The Katerina has eight meeting and conference rooms of original design, hosting between two and 110 delegates.

The hotel offers a complimentary fitness centre with a gymnasium, hydrojet tubs with hydromassage, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, and a solarium.

Guestrooms. The 120 guestrooms at Katerina City Hotel are decorated in a Swedish style with wooden furniture. All are equipped with satellite television with pay channels, complimentary wireless Internet, desks with lamps, direct-dial phones, and minibars. Bathrooms have shower cabins, heated floors, and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Bolshoi is Russian for 'grand', and the theatre of that name built in 1824 houses the grand arts of Opera and Ballet. The 'Maly' or 'small' theatre, neighbouring on Theatre Square, is the home of Moscow's dramatic theatre.

From Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO):
Distance to Katerina City Hotel is 26 kilometres, approximately 55 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Visitors are advised to organise taxis from an official counter in the arrivals hall, rather than hailing taxis from outside the terminal. Fares to destinations in the city are fixed, and the fare into the city centre and the hotel is approximately 1,300- 1,500 RUB (40-50 USD). 24-hour buses run regularly between Terminals One and Two and central Moscow. The number 817 bus runs to Planernaya and Rechnoi Vokzal metro stations, where subways can be taken to Paveletskaya metro 700 metres from the hotel. The fare is about 25 RUB (1 USD) for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around: Moscow has an efficient and inexpensive underground metro system, and the hotel is a short walk from Paveletskaya metro station. Buses, trams and trolleybuses are also available. Tickets can be purchased in advance from metro stations and kiosks. Registered taxis are available at train stations and ranks around the city, and can be booked in advance. The fare should be agreed prior to departure.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs towards the city centre.
Take ring road Cadovo Kolytso round to the southeast of the city.
By the bridge across the Moskva River, turn onto Shluzovaya Naberezhnaya where the hotel is found.
