The Hilton Helsinki Strand is located on the waterfront, within walking distance of numerous attractions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Presidential Palace, both two kilometres away. This eight-floor hotel features 192 guestrooms with large windows and sea or courtyard views. Sightseers will find numerous attractions including the Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral and old market hall, both one kilometre away, and Linnanmäki Amusement Park and the National Museum of Finland, both three kilometres away Helsinki-Vantaa airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

Taxi ranks and bus stops are located directly outside the airport terminal. Finnair buses run regularly to the city centre and cost approximately 5 EUR. Taxis cost approximately 20 EUR. Helsinki City Transport's Tourist Ticket provides visitors with unlimited travel within the city on all forms of public transport including buses, trams, the Metro, commuter trains and the Suomenlinna ferry. Tickets can be purchased for 1, 3 or 5 days. Bikes can also be hired from a number of Citybike stands across the centre of Helsinki for a deposit of approximately 2 EUR. Bikes can then be returned to any Citybike stand. Driving directions: From the airport, follow the directions to Helsinki city center ''Helsinki keskusta''. Continue to Helsinki and drive along Mäkelänkatu until the end. Turn right to Hämeentie and drive until Hakaniemi Market Square on the left. Turn left to Hakaniemenranta and right again to John Stenberginranta. Hotel is number 4.
